The Eccentronic Research Council ft Maxine Peake – ‘Welcome To Valhalla Dale’
The opening track from Eccentronic Research Council’s new album sounds like either a monstrous boss battle from a ‘90s video game, or the ominous and evil music that they blare out on repeat whilst you queue for the big rollercoasters at Thorpe Park. Furthermore, the bizarre spoken word vocals could have easily been plucked from one of David Firth’s twisted Fat Pie cartoons (like Salad Fingers). Fucked up for sure, but brilliant nonetheless.
